Print this template on 8½ x 11-inch paper. Address labels for the students’ mailers and return envelopes.Each sheet has a Stanley for kids to color and is marked with fold and cut lines. Print this template on 11 x 17-inch paper, one per student. This notecard will be mailed back in the above return envelope. A notecard, shown at the bottom left, that the recipient can use to write about Flat Stanley’s adventures and that can hold a few 4 x 6-inch photos.Print on card stock, then give one to each student to trace onto a map, cut, fold and glue. That’s what recipients will use to mail Flat Stanley back to the kids. A smaller return envelope, shown above left.That’s what recipients will pose in the photos they snap. Print one for each student to cut and color. Each template has a Stanley for kids to color cut on the vertical dashed line, then fold in fourths. An accordion-fold letter, shown at center, in which students explain the project and tell the recipient what to do.Everything else fits into this one envelope! A map envelope, shown on the right, above Stanley.You can easily pick up free maps at tourist attractions, rental car locations and AAA offices (if you’re a member). The supplies you’ll need include 8½ x 11-inch white paper, 11 x 17-inch white paper, crayons, pencils, glue sticks, scissors and maps.
